Hi everyone.  I'm so excited to finally be getting started with our work on the Future Ready with the Library project.  It's something I've been thinking about for over two years - from working on the initial IMLS proposal to getting things started with cohort 1.  It's going to be a great year.

As the Future Ready with the Library project manager I get to help guarantee that the project moves forward as we had planned but at the same time help to figure out if we need to make changes along the way.  I love that kind of thing, looking at what is and isn't working and figuring out how to make it better.

I'm pretty passionate about serving teens and think it's really important to help youth and families have what they need to succeed in life. That means having the information, access, connections, and skills to make choices and be prepared for college and/or a career.

I've been fortunate to live in a few different places over the past several decades from urban New York City and Seattle to an island in Maine.  Each experience gave me the chance to learn new things and connect in new ways to libraries and teens.

Looking forward to our next year together.
