April Actioin Plan

Community Partners*

            Northeast Dubois Middle School

           

*My primary Community Partner is the Northeast Dubois Middle School. The middle school will provide an incentive for student participation in the project. Several other partners have been identified who will participate in the project based on the specific subject being addressed. For example, a bank will partner with the library in order to address financial literacy.

 

Goals:

  1. Increased Financial Literacy
  2. Increased Career Awareness
  3. Increased Daily Living Skills

 

Outcomes and Methods of Measurment:

  1. After participating in financial literacy coursework at the library(c) 90 %(d) of middle school aged participants(a) will have a better understanding of budgeting, debt, and management of one’s finances(b).

                                    Pre and Post-Testing/Survey

  1. After participating in a career awareness program at the library(c) 100%(d) of middle school aged participants(a) will have an increased awareness of careers that are available to them with a certificate or on-the-job-training(b).

  1. After participating in a life skills academy at the library(c) 100% of middle school aged participants(a) will have gained life skills in areas of cooking, cleaning, vehicle maintenance, and laundry.
