Assignment #6

Hi All,

Dropouts are not a big problem at our school. There is a big focus on getting kids into the program that will keep them on track. Vocational and academic choices and support as well as strong sports and music programs, give nearly all kids something they can choose. Our teachers and administrators turn themselves inside out to get kids into those caps and gowns.

Our library includes a very active local history archive and there has recently been a big push to create a historic site at a home within our district where Susan B Anthony once lived. It would be great to get in on the ground floor of this with a student component. I will be talking to the history folks soon and will float this idea.
