Summer reading program sucked out my brains and I am so glad it's over! I don't think youth services librarians are supposed to say that out loud, but there you have it!
I hope you are all well and life is treating you a bit kinder than in Previous months. I know you have been overwhelmed and frustrated by what you may have processed as a lack of progress. Be of good cheer! We will all have a program of some sort as a result of our participation in this project. It may not look anything like we imagined, but it will happen. I wonder if we have all been putting so much pressure on ourselves that we have had little energy for creative thought.
After listening to the July chats I asked one of my partners what she wanted from me, as Carol suggested. I still can't believe I hadn't done so before! I am eager to see what this journey entails!
